CSA FAQ

Community Sourced Agriculture (CSA) - Flowers

How does the Flower CSA work?

Members sign up for the Flower CSA program and receive bi-weekly selection of freshly harvested flowers throughout the season. Graystone Farm offers an 8-week program with two Group offerings.

What can I expect in a typical Flower CSA delivery?

Each delivery will feature a mix of seasonal, locally grown, flowers that steal the show and complementary varieties to add diversity to your arrangements. The selection will vary based on the farm's offerings and the time of the season.

How do I get my flowers?

You may pick your flowers up at Graystone Farm between 8am-6pm on your designated day. Please know that the farm is not open to the public unless you are picking up a purchase.

What if I'm out of town and can't pick up my flowers?

If you can't make it to pick up your flowers, we suggest gifting them to a loved-one! Just let us know that someone will be picking up for you. Flowers that aren't picked up by the end of the day will be gifted to a local family unless other arrangements have been made.

Can I gift a CSA membership?

Absolutely! In fact, we think a flower CSA is one of the best gifts around. Just include a note at checkout with the recipient’s contact information so we can keep in touch through the growing season. OR – consider a gift card for this purpose.

I'd like extra flowers, can you help?

Sure! You can add flowers to your weekly delivery or arrange a time to pick them up at Graystone Farm. Send an email to graystonefarmwa@gmail.com to start the conversation.

I'm not confident in my flower arranging abilities, what should I do?

Don't worry-we've got you! One of the best parts of receiving flowers is the time spent arranging them. There is no wrong way to make a bouquet and you are encouraged to experiment! If you’d like some time in the workshop with us – just ask, we are happy to help you identify your unique floral design aesthetic.
